Hello Dog’s Best Friend Community!
The well-being of you and your furry family members is always top of mind.
We have started up our group classes again and plan to run as much of them outdoors as possible. In addition to moving outdoors we are reducing the sizes of our classes for now and having a limit of one person per dog to be sure we meet the requirements the county has implemented.
When needed we will move indoors. Our spaces are cleaned with commercial grade and food grade products that kill 99% of viruses and bacteria, yet safe for animals. During the day extra cleaning is happening in the facilities and we will continue to frequently clean high touch areas as well in the evenings and weekends when we are there for class.
We are also resuming our in person consultations at your home. We are starting most of our consultations online through Zoom or phone so that we can get all the background information prior to coming to your home. That way we can minimize face to face time to actually working with you and your dog. For now, we will be working with clients outdoors in your yard or a nearby park. We have other options available as well if your space doesn’t allow us to work outdoors.
Our staff will wear masks when possible, maintain social distancing at all times and follow the CDC instructions to minimize the transmission of covid-19 among people as well as between people and animals. We are highly recommending that our clients in classes or private sessions also wear a mask. Additionally we ask that if you or anyone in your home are sick, to please not come to class and if you or anyone you’ve been exposed to have come down with covid-19 to notify us as soon as possible.
We also still have our online courses available for purchase should you choose to train at home instead of coming out to a group class.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can email us.
Wishing you health and happiness in this stressful time.
