Chelse Wagner is a Canine Behavior Consultant and Class Instructor at Dog’s Best Friend, Ltd. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in Zoology and Psychology in 1997. Ms. Wagner has spent years working in animal shelters. In her previous position, as Behavior Coordinator for the Dane County Humane Society, Chelse took the lead in developing the shelter’s canine temperament testing program, and has safely tested and advised placement on over 1,000 dogs. She has had years of experience evaluating dogs for behavioral problems, evaluating the prognosis of successful treatment plans and overseeing treatment alternatives. Chelse has owned and trained many different breeds of dogs including Greyhounds, Aussies, Border Collies and Mixed Breeds. Chelse currently shares her home with her husband Jeff and their four-legged friends including a mini Aussie, Golden Retriever and two contended cats.
