Staff - Catherine Young

After several years of experience with Dog's Best Friend as a client and volunteer, Catherine was thrilled to accept a position as Assistant Trainer in September, 2004. With degrees in both Visual Art and Education, as well as a background in the performing arts, she enjoys using her teaching and coaching skills to help people and their dogs develop lifelong healthy relationships. Catherine lives in the country near Madison, WI with her husband, her son, Bernese Mountain Dogs Mickey & Shadow, and Max & Emily, the cats. Her interests include gardening, baking, reading, hiking and tracking with Mickey.
